In the series of Madhya Pradesh Congress’ Assembly constituency level Parivartan Yatra, the two-day Yatra started on Monday from the Jabalpur district for Jabalpur, Satna and Rewa.
On the first day of the Yatra public meetings were held in two Assembly constituencies Patan and Sehora. Earlier, in the day, State Congress president Kantilal Bhuria and leader of opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh took a meeting of the office bearers of Jabalpur and reviewed the preparations for Mission 2013 and organisational activities of the district.
The leaders duo while addressing the public meetings said that the legislators of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ministers have forgotten public service and development of state and have indulged in illegal activities like illegal mining. All of them are concerned only for filling their pockets, they said.
Bhuria said that cases have been registered against 16-17 ministers of the state in lokayukta but the BJP Government is busy pressing them. If the investigations in these cases would have been preceded than these corrupt ministers would have been exposed among the public by now, he added.
He said that the miraculous prosperity recorded among the small and big BJP leaders of the State is due to belching of funds meant for development programmes and schemes in the interest of poor.
Ajay Singh said that the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan claims to be maternal uncle of the girls of the State but he does not have any time for concern of the 7500 girls that have been lost from the state. Congress is aware that how and from the BJP leaders are doing corruption and the party is also having an eye on the Kamal brand Congressmen, now on these opportunist people would not get any place in the party, he added.
