Cyber crime cell nabbed two persons who were involved in posting indecent messages and videos over Whatsapp number of a married woman; one of the accused is husband of the victim.
According to the police, the accused Sukhendra Singh (28) used to send indecent messages and videos of the victim with the help of his friend Vinay Kumar Yadav.(32).
The victim lodged a complaint with the cyber cell stating that on her whatsapp number she was receiving indecent messages and videos due to which she remains frustrated and depressed. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigations the police have registered a case under section 67 and 67 A of the IT Act.
During the investigation it was found that Vinay Kumar of Allahabad used to send the victim obscene messages and videos after which he was nabbed and when he was quizzed he confessed that his roommate Sukhendra (husband of the victim) used to send the messages and videos to his wife using his (Vinay’s) mobile phone.
later in the investigation Sukhendra told the police that after the marriage the victim’s relationship with his family and him were not good and they used to have frequent fights and around three years ago she left his house and returned to the city and started living in TT Nagar.
The accused used to work for a private company in Noida and used to live with his friend Vinay Kumar who worked with Sukhendra in the same company. To harass her Sukhendra used to send obscene messages and videos along with Vinay to the victim.
