A 19-year old girl was allegedly sexually exploited for the past one year on the promise of marriage at Kolar; a complaint was lodged by victim with the Kolar police on Thursday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted and exploited by the accused Rajesh Singh in the name of marrying her and left for work in Rajasthan few days ago when the victim became pregnant she informed accused but he refused to marry her.
Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started investigation.
The victim came into contact with the accused in the year 2019 and later she was sexually assaulted and exploited.In the complaint victim claimed that he was acquainted with the accused for the past two years and on December 12, 2019 return from Rajasthan where he works and asked the victim to meet victim where he sexually assaulted her and promised her of marrying.
Later he continued to sexually exploit and lured her of marriage. The accused Rajasthan for resuming work and when the victim informed her that she got pregnant accused refused to marry her. The accused raised suspicion over her character and threatened her.
After the preliminary investigation police have registered case against the accused and started further investigation.The victim left studies after class 9 and used to live at home. The details of the accused who is resident of the same village would be investigated.
