A 19-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at her Barrai village residence under Berasia police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased Jyoti Sehriya was found in an unconscious state and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The deceased committed suicide in the afternoon. The deceased went to her room and later she was found in an unconscious state by parents and later declared dead when taken to a nearby hospital. Police have not found any suicide note and no reason was found behind the suicide. The reason would be investigated.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man committed suicide by hanging at his house at Panchsheel Nagar under TT Nagar police station area on Wednesday. Police said that the deceased Ravi Kumar was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPC and have started further investigation. The reason behind the suicide remains unknown and would be investigated. The deceased used to work as labour.
