A 19-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling in a under construction house at Indra Vihar Colony under Gandhi Nagar police station area on Sunday.
According to the police, the deceased Anjali Pawar was found hanging in the afternoon by the family members. Police were informed and based on the information reached the spot and started investigation in the matter.
The deceased committed suicide late in the afternoon. The father of the deceased used to work as labourer at the under construction house where the deceased committed suicide. She committed suicide in the bathroom.
The deceased was pursuing B.Com final year. Her two brothers used to work as labourer while her father was in Sagar for the past 15 days. At the time of incident mother was at shanty which was near the under construction house, she used to visit the house frequently but on Sunday when she failed to return for long her mother went to check only to found her hanging.
Police have not found any suicide note and no reason was found behind the suicide. The reason would be investigated.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
