An 18-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her residence in Housing Board Colony under Teelajamalpura police station area on Sunday.
According to the police the deceased Divya Satwani was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot.
Investigating Officer SI Ramesh Yadav said that the deceased’s father owns a clothes shop and had gone to shop while deceased’s mother had gone for religious procession in neighbor. At around 11.30 am deceased’s uncle who returned home found her hanging.
In the initial investigation police have not found any reason behind the suicide and have started investigation to find the reason behind the suicide.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 65-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the tree at Dhamaniya village under Khajuri police station area on Sunday.
Police said that the deceased Ram Singh was found hanging with tree in the afternoon and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased was heavily addicted to liquor and on Saturday he had a fight with his neighbor and later he was found dead.
Possibility of deceased been killed and hanged could not be ruled out at the moment and other details could be revealed after receiving the post mortem report.
