An 18-year-old youth died after he was hit by a speeding train at Bawadia Kalan railway tracks while taking photographs on Saturday; Shahpura police have started investigation.
According to the police, a youth died after he was hit by speeding train at railway tracks while his friend was taking his photographs was identified as Arif Khan of Uttar Pradesh.
Arif’s friend Akash was taking photographs while Arif was on the railway track and failed to calculate train’s speed was hit by the train. He died on the spot due to the impact. Akash who witnessed the accident was not able to provide details of the accident due to his shocked state.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation in which it was found that Arif was pursuing Pharmacy from a private college and came to Bhopal around 15 days ago. On Saturday he along with his friend Akash went to click photographs during which he met accident and lost his life.
Police said that the statements of the family members and his friend are yet to be recorded which could help in revealing the reason behind the death. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 23-year old youth committed suicide by consuming poison s substance at Preet Nagar under Chhola Mandir police station area late in the night on Friday.
According to the police, Vivek Kumar was found in an unconscious state at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment on saturday. The reason behind the suicide remained unclear and would be investigated.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
