An 18-year old woman was sexually exploited, assaulted in Chhola Mandir area. Goods at the victim's house were also damaged by the accused. A complaint was lodged by the victim on Saturday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Yogesh Kushawa on November 14 by entering her house when she was alone and by threatening her. Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation.
The victim came into contact with the accused who is a distant relative and who lives in Raisen, accused used to visit the house of the victim and started to chat over phone with the victim.
The two became friends but never developed a relationship. In the complaint, the victim claimed that the accused came to the house on November 14 after he found that she was alone while her family members had gone out of town.
The accused entered the house and started obscenity with the victim which she opposed and later when she opposed the accused assaulted her and damaged goods in the house. He raped her and before leaving threatend to keep slient on the matter. On Saturday the victim braved to report the incident to the family and lodged a complaint with the police.
Meanwhile a 19-year-old girl was sexually exploited for the past one year on the pretext of marrying her in Kolar area.
The accused Deepak Lodhi developed a relationship with the victim in 2021 on the pretext of marrying her and a few days ago he refused to marry her. The accused escaped after he found that a case of rape has been registered by the Kolar police on victim's complaint.
