A 16-year-old youth died while his younger brother escaped with grave injuries after their bike scooter was hit by a speeding truck at Narola Sankal Chouraha under Bilkharia police station area late in the evening on Monday.
The two injured brothers have gone to bring grocery goods where they met with an accident. In the accident, Pawan Nayak (22) died while his brother Akash escaped the accident but he is struggling for life due to severe injuries sustained in the accident.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation. The search for the errant driver is under investigation.
Police have spotted the escaping truck after checking CCTV footage of the cameras installed in the area and based on the details police have started to track the truck. Meanwhile a 32-year-old man died after his bike was hit by an unknown speeding car in the Berasia area on Monday. Police said that the injured was taken to hospital where he died during treatment. The locals failed to provide the details of the car which escaped the spot after hitting the man. The deceased was identified as Raja Seharia who was on his way to home on Monday after visiting his relative on Sunday.
