A 16-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Bhuri Pathar village under Berasia police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police the deceased Sonam Singh reported illness and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died during treatment. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
In the initial investigation police have not found any suicide note and no reason behind the suicide was revealed. The deceased left studies after class 8 and used to live at home. During the investigation, police found that on Tuesday night after dinner family members found that the deceased started vomiting and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was died during the treatment.
Police found that the deceased consumed poisonous substances which lead to her death. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old woman was electrocuted at her residence in Arjun Nagar under MP Nagar police station area on Tuesday.
According to police the deceased Jubaida Bi sustained injury after he came into contact with live wire and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
The injured was rushed to Hamidia hospital where she was declared dead.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
