A 16-year-old youth died while taking selfie at laharpur Dam under Bagh Sewania police station area on Monday.
Police said that the deceased Hemant Yadav fell while taking selfie in the evening and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased sustained injuries in his head which proved fatal. Police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and sent the body for the post mortem.
Meanwhile a 30-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his residence in Navjeevan Colony under Chola Mandir police station area on Monday.
The deceased Prem Singh was found hanging in the house at around 5 pm. No suicide note has been found and no reason behind the suicide has been found. Deceased was a habitual drinker.
