150 students' teams participate in tech competition 'Nirman'

The students will explore different and innovative ideas of technology in a national level tech competition ‘Nirman’. Notably, Sagar Institution of Science and Technology (SISTEC) is organising an annual National level Working Model Competition ‘Nirman’ at its premises. As many as 150 teams from all over the country are participating in this competition.

There are various innovative models in the Nirman like air powered vehicles, jet engine cycle, smart square traffic free flyovers and roads; hover kart It’s a car, which can run on road and water both. It’s a wheel less car n a friction less car, Hybrid electric car it can be operated by a multi-type fuel car like natural fuels, solar and electricity. This car is made with scraps only and it can be run by 50 paise per km.

Pramod Pendse Technical Director Vishal fabricators Indore will be present as Chief Guest at the techno fest. NK Choubey, Senior scientist, in-charge, MPCOST and Anil Kumar, professor, MANIT, Bhopal will be present as guests of honour. Further, BS Gupta GM copper strips, N Sundarmurthi Academic Director Sagar Group, Shiji Chako MGM industries, and B Murali  Surya industries will be in the judge’s panel. Notably, in order to enhance the technical knowledge and to discover new talents, this tech fest aim towards new innovations in the field of science. The main participation is expected from students both intra-college and inter-college.

The grand event is targeted to attract all the students from different colleges of the country. Thousands of students from various parts of India have already registered online for the fest and the number of registration is taking a hike every day. As this is the huge Techno fest where thousands of technical students would participate, it would be a great opportunity for them to learn new things in a new way as well.
