A 15-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in EWS 1 Shahpura late in the night on Monday, no reason of suicide has been found in the investigation, said Shahpura police.
According to the police, the deceased Sheetal Pithlodhe was found hanging in the night by the family members. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The deceased had five sisters while father is addicted to liquor and remain idle. At the time of the incident father was not at home. Three of her sisters and her mother used to work as domestic help. The deceased was rushed to nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Police have not found any suicide note and no reason was found behind the suicide. The reason would be investigated.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The family was facing severe financial problems, said police.
Meanwhile, 50-year-old man who consumed poisonous substance at Shanti Nagar on February 4 died during treatment on Monday.
According to the police, the deceased, Suresh Kumar was found in an unconscious state. Police have not found any suicide note or any reason behind the suicide and have claimed that the reason behind the suicide would be investigated.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
