The police on Thursday rescued a 14-year-old girl, went missing from Housing Board Colony under Nishatpura police area on May 12.
During the investigation the police were not able to trace the girl but she later returned home on Thursday and described the whole incident to the family.She told her family that Anil Ahirwar of the same locality lured her for marriage and she eloped with him but she was instead held captive and was sexually assaulted. However, she managed to escape and reached home on Thursday.
later police were informed and based on the victim’s complaint the police have registered a case under section 363, 366 and 376 of the IPC and sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act-2012 were also included.According to the police, she went missing from her residence at Housing Board Colony. After the preliminary investigation a missing complaint was lodged by her family in Nishatpura police station.
The accused was arrested on the same day after victim’s complaint. Police have refused to provide the place where the victim was held captive but family claimed that the victim was in Seronj after she was kidnapped by the accused.Police said that the accused and their accomplices would be questioned during the investigation.
