Kamla Nagar police registered a case of kidnapping after a 14-year-old boy of Tribal hostel in the city gone missing under suspicious circumstances on August 25. The missing boy left home to visit Ganesh pandals in the Ganesh festival.
Police said Vishnu Ahirwar went missing on August 25 in the evening from the hostel. He left the house for visiting Ganesh pandals of Ganesh festival but after he failed to return till late night his mother informed the hostel and later approached the police and lodged a missing complaint with the police.
Police said Ahirwar’s mother works as a cook with the hostel and soon after she reported about his son, other staff of hostel started searching for hours with no avail. later victim’s father lal Singh lodged a complaint with the Kamla Nagar police.
The victim’s mother Ganeshi Bai was not able to provide details regarding the whereabouts as she was only aware that her son had gone to visit Ganesh pandals.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 363 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
