A 12-year-old student was kidnapped when he was on the way for his English coaching. This incident was reported between 10 am and 11 am near Hanuman Nagar American English Coaching.
later, in the evening, the parents of the victim received a phone call from abductors demanding Rs 10 lakh as ransom. They warned and threatened the mother of the boy not to inform the police or if it happens then they will kill the child. Police have traced the number and interrogated the suspects who may be involved in this incident.
Cable operator Dharmveer Singh Bhadoria is the resident of Hanuman Nagar which is situated near Gola ka Mandir police station, his father Ramvilas Singh Bhadoria has worked in Traffic Police and he has passed away two years ago. Dharmveer Singh has only son Avneesh alias Kunnu who is a student of Radha Bhallabh Higher Secondary School in class 7. When he went to his American Speaking English coaching by his bicycle and on his daily routine he always comes back by 10.30 am.
When he did not turn up by noon then the family members started searching for him. It was informed from coaching that after the class, Avneesh had left for home. later, in the evening, Avneesh’s mother mother received a phone call on her mobile and the caller informed that he was speaking from Agra and Avneesh was with him. He also demanded Rs 10 lakh as ransom stating that her son would be killed if she would approach police.
Family members were stunned after the call and directly informed about ransom to Gwalior SP Harinarayan Chari Mishra. Police have found the location of the caller and it has indicated to Gwalior City. Crime Branch and Gola Ka Mandir Police team have started their work respectively. Avneesh is still missing along with his bicycle. Police have searched Hanuman Nagar and behind its garden bushes but did not found any clue.
Police are suspecting that the abductors are known to the family and police are working on this theory. Some of them are saying that they have seen he was forcibly taken by the kidnappers. Avneesh’s father Dharmveer Singh said that he and his family members do not have any enmity with anybody.
Police officials have already contacted Coaching Centre and nearby buildings to examine the CCTV cameras.
