To control crime, the police have started the dial 100 system. Gwalior SP Harinarayanachari Mishra said the police received 115 complaints in the first 24 hours.The response of the police was perfect in more than 90 per cent of the cases, while most of the complaints were related to domestic violence. The police also received many complaints regarding gambling and street fights. The police were able to reach most of the spots on time and arrested the culprits. They also counseled many people related to domestic violence and this had a great positive effect on the public. The SP said that three vehicles have been allotted for this and preparations are on for the grand inauguration of it by the Chief Minister.
