The State Government on Monday claimed that infrastructure development works worth `1,017 cr are being carried out on 2,398 hectares land of 20 industrial areas of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Ujjain by the Audhyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam (AKVN). Facilities of approach roads, electricity, water and other basic facilities related to industries are being developed in these industrial areas.
In a statement, the Government said that the development work costing `80 cr in 50 hectare at Plastic Park Tamot district Raisen, `27 cr worth works in 83 hectares at Kiratpur district Hoshangabad, works worth `45 cr in 640 hectares land at Babai district Hoshangabad, `80 cr worth works in 336 hectares at Acharpura and Bagroda district Bhopal are being carried by the AKVN.
Similarly, development works by Indore AKVN are being undertaken at Railwakhurd district Badwani worth `17 crore in 40 hectares, works worth `25 crore in 72 hectares at Kasarwari district Jhabua, `35 crore costing works in 76 hectares at Ujjaini district Dhar.
The `40 crore development works in 148 hectares at Rudhi Bhavsingpura district Khandwa, works worth `25 crore in 45 hectares at Apparel Pharma Cluster district Indore, development works costing `30 crore in 142 hectare land at the Industrial area of Hatod district Dhar and works worth `50 crore in 4 hectares land at Crystal IT park of Indore district.
Moreover, development works are being carried out by Gwalior AKVN costing `85 crore in 156 hectares land at Pahadi phase -2 industrial area of district Morena, works worth `11 crore 50 lakh in 12 hectares land at Food Cluster industrial area Barodi district Shivpuri, works costing `25.50 crore in 25 hectares at Spice Park industrial area Kumbhraj district Guna.
Further, infrastructure development works are being carried out by AKVN Ujjain in four industrial areas.
An area of 450 hectares land is being developed at Vikram Udhyogpuri district Ujjain costing `325 crore, works worth `22 crore in 20 hectares land at Karmadi industrial area district Ratlam, `24 crore worth development works in 52 hectares land at industrial area Sirsoda district Dewas and `40 crore are being spent for infrastructure development works in 89 hectares land of Tajpur industrial area of district Ujjain.
