The youngsters of the city brushed up their creative skills in a workshop held at Capstone Film Academy that concluded here on Sunday.
During the 10-day workshop the students received a formal training from the renowned names of Bollywood. The experts from Bhopal and even from Mumbai instructed the students in acting and direction and also advised them how to make a career in the respective fields. They also learnt about physical expression, speech acting and direction in the workshop.
The renowned names of acting and direction like Harsh Daund, guest faculty of Whistling Woods Acting School, Mumbai and Film and Television Institute, Pune along with the, renowned director Ravi Williams, senior theatre actor Sanjay Mehta and Ronny George imparted the basics of acting and direction.
Also, well-known producer and director Anil Sharma from Mumbai, Ram Bundela, actor liliput Faruqui and Dilli wali Thakur girls and Jodha Akbar fame actor Shilpa Raijada also took classes as guest faculties in this workshop.
While talking about the workshop director of Capstone Academy Prince Patidar said that many students of this academy are working as actors in TV and films in Mumbai. Actor Rupali Sisodia is one of them and she also shared her experience with youths in this workshop. Sisodia is working in south movie ‘Tanay’ with superstar Chiranjeevi. She has also worked in some soap operas like ‘Yeh Shadi Hai Ya Sauda’, ‘Raghvanshi Kanya’ and ‘NRI Dulha’, Patidar said.
