The Madhya Pradesh Assembly's 10-day Winter Session commences on January 8 and would comprise of seven sittings.
The Vidhan Sabha Secretariat issued a notification to this effect on Tuesday in accordance with the Governor's order, a Secretariat release quoted Principal Secretary (Assembly) Rajkumar Pandey as saying. This would be the maiden session of the State's 14th Assembly and is scheduled to witness oath-taking by members and election of the Speaker. January 12, 13 and 14 would be holidays.
