After a delay of one and half year ten persons were booked by MP Nagar police for duping several investors of Rs 10 crore. A case of fraud was registered by the MP Nagar police on Tuesday.
According to the police, several investors were duped by chit Fund Company BPN Real State and Sunshine Infra Build. Initially the investors were paid maturity on time but gradually the payments were delayed in the year 2013 and finally the payments were stopped and companies escaped the city.
SHO MP Police Ashish Dhurve said that the company BPN Real State and Sunshine Infra Build Corporation limited used to lure the investors in the multiple returns on their investments and later escaped with the investment of several investors. At present around 20-25 investors have been identified who were duped by the accused.
During the further investigation details of the company and the accused would be searched and accused would be nabbed, he added.
The accused used to operate from their company office in MP Nagar zone 2 and to gain confidence of the investors the company officials assured the investors regarding their offices in major cities across the country. The complainant Subhash Malviya has lodged complaint against BS Baghel, Banwari Baghel, Rajeev Singh, Sanjeev Singh, DS Baghel, Mukesh Baghel, AK Chaturvedi, Brijesh Baghel, Rajeev Giri and Brijesh Bhargava. The police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC against ten accused and have started further investigation. A complaint was lodged on March 27, 2015 but the police failed to take action on the complaint. After the investors failed to get any response around 40 investors lodged a complaint with the MP Nagar police.
