The Long Lasting Insecticidal Net (LLIN) has been made using a new technology.
These nets are dip-treated using synthetic pyrethroid with nylon thread.
These nets are strong and their insecticide capacity remains effective for a long time. The insecticide used in these insecticidal nets is effective for 3 years and can be washed at least 20 times.
The nets are being supplied in small, medium and large size.
These nets provide protection against malaria and other mosquito –borne diseases.
Experts believe that the use of LLIN is expected to result in 60-80 percent fall in malaria cases.
LLIN is an important component to meet the target of malaria elimination in the country till year 2030.
