Appreciating the transparency of literature and the contributions of writers in literature, an event ‘Spandan Samman Samaroh 2019’ was organised here on Friday at State Museum.
The event was organised by Spandan Sanstha Bhopal, to appreciate the literature art. The story writers and playwrights of the city were felicitated with awards for their immense contribution in the world of literature.
The event featured the poets as well as story tellers reciting their creations. Writers like Rajesh Joshi, Mahesh Katare, Harish Pathak and Satyanarayan Patel were present at the programme and recited their creations before the audience grabbing much applause. The writers left the audience mesmerized with their recitation of stories.
The literature lovers of the city appreciated the creations of some of the poets for their tremendous contribution in mounting up the literature among people.
During the event, few playwrights and writers were felicitated. Among all Alok Chatterjee was felicitated with Spandan Kala Samaroh, Asgar Wajahat was felicitated with Spandan Katha Shikhar Samman, Udayan Vajpayee was felicitated with Spandan Kriti Samman, Prem Janmajaye was felicitated with Spandan Samajik Patrakarita Samman, Mahesh Drpan was felicitated with Spandan Alochna Samman, Pankaj Subeer was felicitated with Spandan Kriti Samman and Thavayi Thiyam was felicitated with Spandan Yuva Samman.
During the programme, each writer recited two or three of his creations before the audience and received much appreciation. Further, the other participant poets also gave overwhelming performances before the audience as they read out their creations in various languages adding various emotions, and expressions in their poetry.
The audience took the pleasure of programme and enjoyed the show whole-heartedly. The audiences were awestruck as the writers recited their creations.
