The delightful ghazals mesmerized the Bhopalites in an event Mausiqi. Shaam e Mausiqi was organized in city wherein the singers performed Sufiyana qalams that left the audience mesmerized.
An online programme "Sham e Mausiqi" was organized on Thursday under Gamak series of performances. It was organised by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, Sanskriti Parishad, Department of Culture.
On Thursday, under Shaam e Mausiqui programme, famous Ghazal singer Gurmeet Singh Dang of Indore and Ghazal singer Kirti Sood of Bhopal gave musical performance of Ghazals.
The singers presented ghazals composed by Ghalib, Ahmed Faraz, Samar Nizami, Allama Iqbal, Taj Bjopali and more.
Ghazals like Abke Hum Bichde toh Kabji Khwabo me mile, Main tere sheher me, mere hum nafs mere hum nawa, saare jahan se acha hindostaan hamara and more ghazals took hearts away.
In the beginning of the programme Nusrat Mehdi, Director of Urdu Academy, while giving information about the programme said that as you all know that the Culture Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, realizing the need of art diversity in literature.
Realizing the importance of fine arts, it is continuously organising a programme Gamak. Various activities are bieng held under Gamak.
Artists are excited about organizing events. Many new talents are also emerging through them.
Department of Culture realized that even during this pandemic the literary figures, artists and poets of the state should continue to get a platform.
As a result of this, these programmes are being organized regularly.
