“SBI Ladies Club has always been conscious of its social obligations. We have been making all efforts for the welfare of the needy sections of the society. As the mercury is going down in the winter, the problems of people living in the edges of roads and settlements of raw houses are increasing. Keeping this in mind, today our club has come together with the Lok Jagar Kala Manch amongst you," this was said by Rama Pandey, Chairman SBI Ladies Club in a programme organised by Ladies Club, in Nayi Basti of village Kajalikhedi Kalapani and Chalees Jhuggi in Banskhedi Danish Kunj.

It is noteworthy that in these settlements, people displaced from Abdullaganj, Damkheda and Subhash Nagar have been settled. As part of the Joy of Giving programme in a series of organizing at least one social service activity per month, SBI Ladies Club handed over blankets, warm clothes, toys and study material for students to more than one hundred poor families in these two settlements in the hands of Rama Pandey. Ration was also distributed to these people through 'SBI Stridhan', created by the contribution of women of SBI family in the war against Covid.

On this occasion, Deeksha Bansal, Secretary, SBI Women's Club and Anupama Sanjeev of Lok Jagar Kala Manch and other ladies club members were also present.
