To remember the renowned painter of Sachida Nagdev a grand event 'Rangsmriti-3' will be organised on Friday at Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum.
Under this event, various events will be organised. To begin with the event young and talented sitar player Smita Nagdev along with her fellow artists will present 'Sitar Vaadan' in the museum hall from 11 am. Documentaries focusing on the life and contribution of renowned painter Late Sachdev Nagdev will also be screened.
Meanwhile, a painting competition will be organized on the same day. The students of art colleges will participate in 'painting competition' focusing on the theme of tribal culture of Madhya Pradesh. The painting competition will be organised to observe the Rangsmriti 3 at Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum.
In the competition, students from different art colleges can participate.
Sachida Nagdev was a renowned painter. Nagdev is best known for his abstract oil paintings in harmonious colors, though his later works include some representational art including human figures. He was one of the first few Indian artists to experiment fusion of Indian Miniature Painting style with modern abstract style. He is a recipient of Shikhar Samman highest civilian honor bestowed by MP Government.
