Pragati Deergha located in Piplani near Hostel No.3, is an exhibition gallery depicting BHEL’s glorious journey since its inception.
HRDC has been entrusted by BHEL Management to develop ‘Pragati Deergha’ as a learning centre spreading technical knowledge to society. Taking a step in that direction an industrial visit of a batch of students of SIRT College Bhopal was organized by HRDC.
This included a visit to shop floors of factory to take a look at the products and manufacturing facilities, a guided tour or ‘Pragati Deergha’ with explanations of various models and exhibits and followed by a lecture on ‘Solar Technology’ by BHEL expert. The faculty members and students expressed satisfaction on completion of the one- day industrial visit programme. BHEL intends to organize many such programmes in future.
