To observe birth anniversary of Sant Kabir, a special programme “Pi Le AmiyaRas Dhara” was organised by Madhya Prasesh State Tribal Museum here on Friday. It was held on Department of Culture's YouTube Channel.

The programme was conducted by a renowned poet and anchor Vinay Upadhyaya.

He said  that today Kabir’s poetry is much needed as the young generation is seemed to follow what’s not right.

“It teaches love, kindness and much more. Kabir’s poetry brings out the essence of life,” he added.

The journey of Kabir is the journey of Nirgun. He was a seeker who renounced the material comforts of worldly life. Kabir's spiritual practice told this deep truth of life so effortlessly that it felt like he loved the whole world.

“The glory of Satguru is infinite, infinite favors ...." Siddha poet Sant Kabir says that the glory of Satguru cannot be described in words. There is no limit to the glory of the Satguru. The Guru has done infinite favors on us. He has shown us the path of knowledge by taking us out of the darkness of ignorance. Our knowledge has opened its eyes and made us see the divine.

Kabir's nirguna terms churned the public mind of India in such a way that the circles and districts not only held it in their memory but also contained the bibos and messages contained in it in their language.

In the program, famous classical and folk singers like Aarti Anklikar Tikekar, Kalapini Komakali, Laxmandas Baul, Ajay Tipania and Devakinandan Sakwar and senior artists of theater like Ranjana Gauhar, Sanjay Upadhyay and Maitreyi Pahari gave  mesmerising performances.
