These days, the shoppers in the State Capital are enjoying an exquisite range of dress materials and other stuff at ‘Phag Mela 2020’ at Bhopal Haat. The fair that began from Tuesday is evoking a good response by the visitors.
On Wednesday, the shopaholics were seen buying the trendy, traditional and ethnic stuff at the exhibition.
The exquisite range of shopping material to the buyers. This time the Fag Mela is capturing the interest of the people which is really appreciable.
This is the annual mela organised by State Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Around 32 Self Help Groups (SHGs) from across the country have participated in the fair. These self employed vendors belong to the SHGs and live under the poverty line and so they earn the sale profit directly.
Artists from different states that include Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have participated in the fair. Each stall has a magnificent array of the special item of their region.
The fair showcases a collection of bed sheets, cushion covers and other interior decorative stuff for one’s house. A variety of dress materials, imitation jewellery, foot-wears, ladies hand-bags and wallets are the centre of attraction for the female buyers at the fair.
Further, major collection from Madhya Pradesh such as a variety of Chanderi dress material, sarees, Dabu print, terracotta, Bagh print and jute and leather items could also be noticed there. The fair will conclude on March 15.
