In our culture men are still shy venturing into kitchen as it is assigned domain of women but in the changing culture, women have taken different roles making them busy which requires men to shed reservation and shoulder responsibility for meaningful changes said celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor during special lecture on ‘Changing Food Trades in India’ organised by Public Relationship Society Bhopal on Tuesday.

In the changing food forms ethics are missing and if ethics are seen in connection with food forms, taste would be enjoyed.

We are moving away from ‘Homemade Food’ and eating out could never provide taste and nutrition like that of homemade food.

In case if someone if found of Junk Food try to prepare it at home which would be filled with love and would not harm. With time changes occur gradually which are not big but due to our perception changes are perceived as bigger ones.

There are four types of taste sour, sweet, bitter, salty whileJapanese have discovered fifth taste Umami while in Indian culture around 5000 years ago ‘Chhat Ras’( Sixth taste) has been mentioned.

The last changes in the Indian Food culture occurred in 14th century. Potato, Chili and Tomato without which Indian food could not be imagined were brought by Portuguese to India.

On the occasion Editor in Chief Madhya Pradesh Puspendra Pal Singh and businessman Nawab Raza were present.
