Designed in different patterns and prints, the Bhopalites can now explore ‘The Magic of Maheshwari 2018’ in an exhibition cum sale.
An exhibition ‘The Magic of Mahehwari 2018’ is being organised in the city by Mrignayanee Emporium of Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation, Bittan Market.
The exhibition showcases an enormous varieties of State’s one of the oldest fabric materials, Maheshwari.
One could find a wonderful collection of sarees, suits and dress materials in Maheshwari, Chanderi and Silk materials.
It is to be noted that this is not the first time Mrignayaynee organised an exhibition cum sale on a particular material.
Few months before, the same exhibition was organized on Chanderi that received a huge response.
Besides, it is noteworthy that Maheshwari cloth material is always liked by the people and also attracts the tourists as well.
More than 80 different designs in Maheshwar material are displayed in exhibition from Khargone district of the State.
There is an array of vibrant colours like green, ocean green and ocean blue along with shades of yellow, brown, sky colours and colours in contrast.
These materials have been designed in different patterns and prints.
There are printed materials beautifully embroidered with Batik Print, Dabu Print, Hand-Block Print and one of the most renowned and loved in all seasons, Bagh Print.
There is also a range of running material (Thaan) in different varieties as well.
Ladies, who want to wrap themselves in handcrafted dabu, bagh and batik prints, can visit the fair and can fill their wardrobes with loveable fabrics at affordable price.
He also said that similar exhibitions would be organised in the future as well.
