An event marking the Gandhi Jayanti ‘Ekau Ram Rahim’ will be organised at Shaurya Smarak open air auditorium here on Friday. Directorate of Swaraj Sansthan will organise an eve featuring the devotional songs ‘Ekau Ram Rahim’ to mark the D-day.
On the evening, renowned folk singer from Bhopal Suhasini Joshi will give a performance.
On the other hand, Maher Band will present a devotional music performance before the audience.
It is to be nited that Suhasini is has set up a specific identity in the music world in a short time. Madhya Pradesh's renowned singer Suhasini Joshi, has her forte in Rabindranath Tagore's compositions.
She will probably present the devotional hymns composed by Kabir, Tulsidas, Meerabai, Sant Radas, Sant Tukaram, Nazir, Nizamuddin Auliya for Ekau Ram Rahim event.
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary, the Swaraj Institute Directorate will also be putting up the exhibition.
The Directorate of Swaraj Institute is organizing a painting exhibition centered on Mahatma Gandhi from October 2 to 5, with pictures of Mahatma Gandhi's Madhya Pradesh tour, along with paintings made by renowned painters of the country during the painting workshop Exhibition will be put up. As a part if the exhibition, paintings of Lal Bahadur Shastri will also be put up.
Besides, A film screening festival will also be organised from October 2 to 7. The festival will be held to observe Gandhi Jayanti.
