The university provides students with a very friendly, encouraging and helpful campus offering many social opportunities to meet and develop relationships with people. Housing facilities on campus and off-campus are a boon to Indian students.
Now that President Donald Trump has taken over, will it affect the footfall of Indian studentsIJ
Since the Protecting the Nation from Terrorist Entry into the United States by Foreign Nationals signed by President Trump on January. 27, Missouri has worked closely with Indian students. We meet on one to one basis with them to provide guidance and support. This has resulted into no declination in number of Indian students. We have also spoken to groups of students, stressing their value and our desire for them to continue their studies here. The university values the presence of all of Indian students and we remain committed to their safety and peace of mind. Going forward too we expect similar confidence amongst the students who wish to study with us and are quite certain that they would have no issues with regards to their immigration.
What advice will you give to students to crack interviewsIJ
Making way to an interview of a foreign university itself is an achievement. The goal for students is to show who they are, how they have been doing, what are their future plans with passion and clarity. Students need to connect with their interviewer and share their passion with them with honesty. Students should express themselves in polite respectful manner to receive a similar behaviour from the interviewers.
