Applications are invited for the VIT University Entrance Examinations (VITEEE - 2016) that is scheduled to be held in April 2016 for admission in various B.Tech courses offered at VIT University, Vellore and Chennai campuses. With the inauguration of the head post office by the VIT University Chancellor Dr GViswanathan, the applications forms can be purchased from 92 head post offices.
This computer based test is scheduled to be held from April 6 to 19, 2016 in 118 cities including Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat. The courses offered in Vellore campus includes Bio-Medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Engineering (specialisation in Bioinformatics), Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical (specialisation in Automotive Engineering), Mechanical Engineering (specialisation in Energy Engineering), Production and Industrial Engineering and in Chennai campus – B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The application forms can be obtained from the head post offices by sending a DD for `990 drawn in favour of VIT University, payable at Vellore to the director – UG Admissions or by cash payment at selected post offices across India. Candidates can also apply online at www.vit.ac.in by paying `960. last date for applying is February 29, 2016.
