The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha (IP) University in collaboration with the World lung Foundation has started a tobacco free awareness drive in the campus and for the affiliated colleges of the university. A painting competition on this theme was organised in the campus which was participated by 43 students of the campus and the affiliated colleges.
Shashank Mishra of GB Pant Government College, Ashu Rana of lingya lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences and Mohit Solanki of Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies were adjudged first, second and third winners respectively. They were awarded by Prof Anil K Tyagi, vice chancellor of the university in the presence of Prof CS Rai, director of students welfare of the university and Dr Khatri, president of World lung Foundation.
