The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a premier national professional body (imparting education primarily through distance learning) established by an Act of Parliament (Company Secretaries Act, 1980) to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries. It provides postal and oral coaching and training to students to qualify as Company Secretaries. In view of the Prime Minister’s appeal, Team ICSI led by CS R Sridharan implemented the Swachh Bharat Mission religiously on January 12, 2015 on the birth anniversary of Swami Vevekananda. ICSI has observed the cleanliness drive for cleaning the surroundings of all offices of the Institute on PAN India basis on January 12, 2015. CS Sridharan presided the cleanliness drive “Swachh ICSI Mission”.
