Rheumatology is a sub-specialty of medicine that deals with diagnosis, identification and medication of disorders relating to disorders related to joints, muscles, bones, and tendons. Rheumatologists treat ailments, which can result in inflammation, pain and swelling and work in tandem with Orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, prosthetists, orthotists and podiatrists.
