The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) recently celebrated July 2016 as Student Month. Themed around the slogan Udaan: We fuel your Growth, the month-long celebration aimed at reflecting the institute’s role in developing the students on their maiden flight into the corporate world. An interactive portal — http://goo.gl/hsFTKN — covering various activities undertaken during the month has been developed by the institute.
The activities include Van Mahotsav Divas, career awareness programmes, engaging student community, full-time integrated course, competitions, academic initiatives, renewed thrust on classroom teaching, webcasts and e-governance programmes, orientation programmes, guidance sessions and campus placement programmes, skill development, Samadhan Divas, Swachh Bharat mission, etc. Offices of the institute located in different parts of the country have taken part in this endeavour to successfully undertake various student-friendly activities motivating and facilitating participation of the students.
