The University of Strathclyde has been awarded five prestigious British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM for female students from South Asia to pursue their Master’s Degrees in the UK.
The fully funded scholarships are available for selected one-year Master’s degrees in the areas of health and life science, climate change environment & risk reduction, energy transition and industry 4.0/digital transformation.
The scholarships are on offer for students applying to study at Strathclyde from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Each covers full tuition fees, monthly stipends, a return economy class ticket and other costs.
Application deadline: The last date to apply is March 31, 2022.
An initiative of Aditya Birla Capital Foundation to provide financial assistance and education support services to students who have lost their parent(s) due to COVID-19 to ensure continuity of their education.
Eligibility: Open for students who have lost their parent(s) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants must be studying in Classes 1 to XII or UG (general or professional) degree courses.
Reward: For Classes Ito VIII: Rs 24,000; For Class IX to XII: Rs 30,000. For general UG courses:Rs 36,000; For professional UG courses: Rs 60,000.

An initiative of Reliance Foundation to support 100 of India’s brightest students to create tech for social good. Indian nationals enrolled in first year of full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme in AI, Computer Sciences, Mathematics & Computing and Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering are eligible.
Eligibility: For UG scholarships: Applicants must have secured a rank of 1-35,000 in the JEE Main (Paper 1). For PG scholarships: Applicants who have secured a score of 550-1,000 in the GATE exam, OR applicants who have not attempted GATE and have scored 7.5 or above in their undergraduate CGPA (or % normalised to CGPA) can apply.
Rewards: Scholarships of up to Rs 4 lakh each for UG and Rs 6 lakh each for PG students.
