Karman Thandi, proud tennis star of Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj, established a strong legacy bringing laurels as a successful tennis player by reaching the highest pinnacle of her career so far.
The chairman Ryan International Group of instituions Dr Augustine Francis Pinto and MD Grace Pinto have provided excellent opportunites for enhancing the upcoming talent in sports in school.
Karman won the singles and doubles International Tennis Federation, Grade 4 title at Jakarta. She was also declared runners up in the doubles event. She defeated the seond seeded Chinese Taipei 2-1 and was placed fifth in the Asia Oceania Junior Federation Cup under-16 Girls Tennis Tournament in Kuching, Malaysia.
Winning the title has opened doors to participate in other tournaments. Her enthusiasm was contagious, her energy seemingly endless and her optimism without bounds after she won both the events.
