Prepp.in functions with the purpose of being an all inclusive platform for competitive exam aspirants. To ensure that the process is streamlined, Prepp offers the following information:
1. Synopsis: The first and primary information about an exam is what the exam is all about, i.e. who conducts the exam, what agency is the post for, and what positions are being offered to aspirants.
2. Vacancies: Candidates can explore the number of vacancies available in a given year. Vacancies can vary every year; hence it is essential to know them before sitting for the exam. There is also a breakdown based on vacancies for every separate category.
3. Exam date: Exam dates for these exams are not fixed and are only announced a while before the exam. Students are advised to regularly check important dates on the Prepp portal and plan their preparation accordingly.
4. Eligibility: It is essential to know whether one can even sit for an exam or not. There are various eligibility criteria based on one's age and educational qualification for every exam.
5. Salary: A vast majority of Indian youth decide to sit for the competitive exams because of the prestige that a government job provides and the stable income it has until retirement. On the website, one can easily find the salary for the various posts that the government advertises.
6. Application Process: Prepp also guides the prospective candidates through the application process, from going to the correct website to filling in the form and the fees; all this information is provided on the website and the mobile application.
7. Admit Card: After the application and before the exam, all students must get their Admit cards. Candidates can't enter the examination centre and sit for the exam without an officially issued admit card. Prepp.in helps students in the process of getting that as well.
8. Syllabus and Pattern: All the competitive exams have their pattern and set of the syllabus. Students schedule their preparation process on the basis of the Pattern and Syllabus released by the official websites. Students can go to Prepp.in to see what exactly they have to learn for which level of the exam, including the interview.
9. Strategy and Study material: The two most important things to consider while preparing for an exam are knowing what to study and how to study. One can even find previous year question papers making it easier for candidates to gauge the format and kind of paper set and difficulty for the same. Prepp not only lets the students know what books and sources to follow but also lets them know how to approach the preparation process.
It is said that just theoretical knowledge is not enough to crack the competitive exams. Rather, a candidate should know how to tackle the paper strategically. For this purpose, Prepp.in provides students with practice tests and test series. By sitting for these tests, a student realises what kind of a paper will be put before him during the actual exam.
Candidates can start checking if they can even finish the exam papers in the stipulated time. At the same time, the students can also check the answer keys for these tests to see how they have performed on their mock exams.
One of the unique features that Prepp.in has is that it also informs students with latest updates regarding news on various government exams.
The news section is updated regularly to reflect the latest information available about the exams for aspirants. Students can easily avoid website hopping for information.
No matter how informed one is, there are always doubts that crop up. In case students still have some queries on the various exams, they can simply ask the same in the comments section of the website where in-house subject matter experts reply to their queries with prompt and authentic answers.
Students get a complete all-round guide on government exam preparation with Prepp.in. Besides receiving all the information from the safety of the homes, everything is available for free. So, definitely explore Prepp once if you are a government exam aspirant.
