The Faculty of Nursing recently organised an interactive session on Simulation and Inter-professional Education. Anne Trotter and Marco Allsop from Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) United Kingdom (UK) and Health Education England (HEE) visited India from 26-29 June with the purpose to share UK and India models for improving standardising and regulating nurse education and training.
The delegates visited hospital and faculty of Nursing of SGT University. During their visit to hospital, delegates were shown active participation in the activities of the hospital service care.
At the faculty of nursing, delegates were discussed about the standard syllabus which is followed in India prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.
The dignitaries emphasised on blooming future for nurses and focused on nursing curriculum and nursing standards in and establishment of Simulation lab in Faculty of Nursing, SGT University.
