IACM Smart learn ltd., a Delhi-based training company, will be operating the training partner under Skill India. Udit Raj, Member of Parliament, North-West, Delhi, was also present during the event. “As on September 25, 2017, 545 PMKKs have been allocated to 34 Training Providers (TPs) covering 503 districts (416 Parliamentary Constituencies) in 26 States of India,” he further added. The newly launched PMKK has the target to impart training to 2260 candidates in FY 2018 in the following eight job roles — beauty, plumbing, retail, construction, electronics, furniture fittings, domestic workers and security. Including this center, now Delhi has four Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras at Okhla, Najafgarh, Mandir Marg and Rohini. The PMKK programme provides financial support in form of a soft loan up to 70 lakhs to create training infrastructure and supports delivery of training under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY).
