Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) is going to induct Human Values and Professional Ethics paper in the syllabus of BTech programme from this academic session. This paper is being introduced in the syllabus of first semester of this programme. Apart from University school, around two dozen affiliated Engineering colleges will be benefited from this initiative.
This paper has been divided in four units — Introduction to value education, Harmony in the human being, Basics of professional ethics and Professional ethics in practice. Prof DK Bandyopadhyay, vice chancellor, University says: “We’re also planning to introduce this paper in all programmes run by the University in the larger interest of the society.”
