The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducted a seminar on Cyber Crime and Security- Proofing against Cyber Crime and Role of CS. With a view to creating awareness on IT legal compliances amongst the stakeholders of ICSI, the Noida Chapter of the Northern India Regional Council of ICSI had organised the national conclave at Noida.
NP Singh, DM, Gautam Budhh Nagar was the chief guest. In his inaugural address, he emphasised on the need to deliberate on enhancing the efficient information and communications technology infrastructure, cyber crime, legal remedies and resources to create and support an effective information technology system. These, he said, will trigger a transparent and accountable governance structure and in particular, ensure speedy enforcement of rules and delivery of efficient services to the stakeholders.
