Lending a helping hand

The CSR initiative of US-based IT firm —Emerge360 — has come as a boon for the students of District Council School in Donje, tehsil Haveli, in the outskirts of Pune who will now be introduced to the world of Internet as their school has been given 10 laptops and desktops to set up a computer lab.

The US-based IT solution provider now plans to reach out to more such schools across India to set up computer labs.

“We will be donating 10 desktops and laptops to schools across India every month. We will help schools mainly in rural and semi-urban areas which cannot afford to set up their own computer labs,” said  Shriram Dhotre, Emerge360 spokesperson.

“Our small CSR effort of donating computers will help in technological advancement of the young minds,” Dhotre adds.
