The Shiv Nadar University has partnered with the University of California, Berkeley Extension for an international study programme. This partnership will give Shiv Nadar students an opportunity to study for a semester or for a full academic year at UC Berkeley Extension. The partnership covers all programme offered at UC Berkeley Extension including the currently available Berkeley Haas Global Access Programme with a specialisation in Business and Entrepreneurship or the Environmental Design programme, as well as the soon to be launched programmes in legal Studies and Computer Science.
Dr SN Balakrishnan, chancellor, Shiv Nadar University, said: “We aim to provide an engaging, transformative and empowering environment and opportunities to our students, in order to enable them in creating new knowledge. Given this, our partnership will give our students access to Berkeley's best-in-class faculty, courses and networks within the innovative ecosystem of the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Students from across fields will be exposed to state of the art ideas, skills and network necessary to excel as tomorrow’s innovators.”
Participating students will receive an academic transcript from UC Berkeley Extension upon successful completion of the programme and the credits earned will be transferable to Shiv Nadar University.
