Lido Learning announces the ACE program
The Lido Learning has emerged as one of the most important players in the edtech space, with its small-group tuitions in Maths, Science, English and Coding for students from KG to Grade XII. The company now guarantees that its students will show better exam results, or their entire course fee will be waived off — within just eight months of taking classes.
Speaking about the ACE programme, Sahil Sheth, CEO Lido Learning said: “The programme is the culmination of a lot of research and experiments to build a model that delivers on our promise of making success a habit for each Lido-er, in all aspects of life. Our small-group tuition classes give students the perfect opportunity to truly absorb their learning, understand it, and apply it in real life.
“They are neither restrictive like prolonged one-on-one tuitions, nor unstructured like large group tuitions can be, with no child getting the attention they deserve. We can guarantee success with ACE — to the extent that we’re willing to return course fees if the child doesn’t show measurable improvement — because we know it works.”

IIT Guwahati address environment crisis
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati researchers have developed a highly porous and water repellent superhydrophobic cotton composite material containing Metal-Organic Framework (MOF), which can absorb oil selectively from oil-water mixture.
The MOF composite has capability for selective separation of the oils from oil-water mixtures. The separation efficiency lies between 95% and 98%. Besides, the MOF composite is also able to absorb large volumes of oils and can be reused for minimum 10 times so sorbents have more recovery.
