Job opportunities for freshers
The Internshala has announced the launch of fresher jobs on the platform where it will offer verified and premium job opportunities for freshers and help employers hire talent from its pool of six million-plus job seekers.
With this launch, the final year students and graduates with 0-2 years of work experience will be able to apply to jobs in various profiles including web development, sales and marketing, operations, graphic design, digital marketing, finance, data analytics, and many more.
In addition to in-office job opportunities, Internshala will also be providing permanent remote job opportunities in the wake of COVID-19. Each job on the platform will come with a minimum CTC of `3 lakh per annum.
The jobseekers will be able to apply to jobs free of cost. On the other hand, the employers will be charged a fee of `4999 per job post. However, to help companies save on their recruitment costs during the pandemic, the employers will also be able to post fresher jobs on the platform for free until October 31, 2020.
New programmes for young executives
The WileyNXT in collaboration with IIM Lucknow has announced the launch of the Data Driven Product Management course. It is the only executive education programme to converge Product, Marketing, Development and Scale Up Strategy across product lifecycle with Data Analytics and Design Thinking.
The six months of intensive experiential learning is meant to provide learners with an effective and action learning approach, one that outcomes in significant solutions to meaningful problems.
The course is made for young product managers, product, marketing and business leads, team members and technology professionals who drive business capacities, and managers of product design, success and transformation. The course will offer a joint certification from WileyNXT and IIM Lucknow along with Executive Alumni status.
This collaborationwill bridge the gap between workplace needs and workforce skilling.
GIM Academic year starts with Online Classes
The Goa Institute of Management (GIM), a B-school, has commenced its academic year with online classes for its seniors. Students will now able to attend classes digitally from the safety of their homes.
Among the various programmes, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management and the Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management have commenced online classes from the first week of July 2020.
Students of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management — part-time programme have classes scheduled over the weekend through the year. Faculty members have been conducting these classes online since the last three months.
First year students who have just joined the institute will possibly see classes commence in August 2020 as per the guidelines issued by All India Council for Technical Education.
