IMS Design and Innovation Academy (DIA) organised a graduating show concept 2018 for the final year students to demonstrate their designs. Vice-chancellor of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Delhi Jatin Bhatt, CEO of Ratna Swarna Jewellers Suyash Rastogi and interior designer of Chaukor Studio Tejasvi Bansal were present .
The students of four-year degree and two-year diploma of Fashion Designing, Communication Designing, Jewellery Designing and Interior Designing exhibited their product like Indian wear, along with western clothing, graphics, games, 3D animations, home and office interior parts and decorations.
The IMS-DIA academic advisor Prof Nain Ciao said that students exhibited their products and also showcased their knowledge and skills being applied to industry and market oriented project.
JGU awarded
OP Jindal Global University (JGU) was awarded the second rank on the Swachh Campus Ranking 2018 of all Higher Educational Institutions in India. The Minister for Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar presented this prestigious award to the founding VC of JGU, Prof. (Dr) C Raj Kumar and Registrar, Prof (Dr) YSR Murthy. This is the second year in a row that JGU is getting the award.
Upon receiving the award on behalf of JGU, Prof Kumar said: “Such accolades give us enormous boost, encouragement and support towards fulfilling the vision and mission of building an institution of global excellence in India.”
